Brave Talking is a 6-session therapeutic group designed for children, ages 4–10, who experience selective mutism. Through play-based activities, gradual exposure, and a warm, low-pressure environment, children can build confidence and practice using their voice in ways that feel safe and manageable. Participants will develop:
Confidence in communication
Gradual comfort with speaking
Social connection with peers
Brave communication skills
The group provides a warm, structured environment where participants can practice and strengthen their social skills.
