Sickness Policy

To: Bright Star families

In an attempt to preserve the well-being of all team members, we request that you please abide by the following  policy.

If you or your child has had a fever, or has visible symptoms of illness such as:  runny nose or eyes requiring frequent wiping, sore throat or cough, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or  persistent sneezing, we ask that you please notify us as early as possible to cancel and reschedule your appointment.

We aim to reduce the transfer of these illnesses to other families and therapists.  The same considerations will be made for you or your child and sessions will be cancelled or rescheduled if a therapist is unwell.

Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours notice will not be billed for.

We do understand that sometimes sickness happens suddenly, and so you will not necessarily be billed for a late cancellation due to sickness.  If late cancellations ( less than 24 hours notice) due to sudden illness happen more than two times within a three month period, late cancellations will then be billed.

If a Therapist arrives and you or your child is visibly sick, we reserve the right to refuse treatment and the session may be cancelled on the spot.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely, the Bright Star Team.
